Since our last update, Empact International's team has been actively running the Gateway Relief Pod on Maui, providing essential support to those affected by the wildfires. Our dedicated members have managed a daily flow of 150-200 local volunteers, distributing an average of 37,400 pounds of food and relief supplies to almost 2,000 people every single day!
With the gracious assistance of our response partner Airlink, our members have extended their trip to continue providing much needed support to the local community. We are proud of the progress we have made, but there is still much work to be done, and we are calling on our generous supporters to help us continue our essential work by making a donation today.
